In exercise of powers conferred by sub-sections 3 & 4 of Section 3 of the Goa Ground Water Regulation Act, 2002 (Goa Act 1 of 2002) and in partial modification to the Notification referred above, the Government is pleased to designate the Executive Engineer, Works Division XIII, Department of Water Resources, Gogal, Margao as “Ground Water Officer” in place of the Executive Engineer, Works Division II for Ponda, Mormugao, Salcete, Sanguem, Quepem and Canacona Taluk as to implement and to carry out the purpose of the said Act. All the other provisions of the notification remain unchanged. This Notification comes into force with immediate effect.
