In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (6) of Section 2 of the Goa, Daman and Diu Motor Vehicles Tax Act, 1974 (8 of 1974), the Administrator of Goa, Daman and Diu hereby appoints the Director of Transport, Government of Goa, Daman and Diu, Panaji and the Assistant Director of Transport, Government of Goa, Daman and Diu, Panaji as the Taxation Authorities for Goa District, the Collector of Daman as the Taxation Authority for Daman District and the Civil Administrator, Diu as the Taxation Authority for Diu District with effect from 1st October, 1974 - Legalspace
